1.Kali mur

It is the principal remedy for the membranous exudation, Alternating with Ferrum phos the chief remedy in False croup

2.Ferrum phos

This  remedy should be alternated with Kalimur breathing short Oppressed and  hurried.

3.Calcarea phos

If treatment is delayed till the last stage, syncope,  for nervous prostration,  Pale,  livid countenance,  alternation with Kali Mur

4.Magnesia phos

Spasmodic closure  of the wind pipe sudden shrill voice suffocative cough

5.Calcarea sulph

Useful after exudation stage when after the hard membrane has been softend, there is  tough mucus in the causing much discomfort. It will change the croupous to catarrhal cough,  and when given in season will sometimes prevents exudation
