ஆர்கனான் மணிமொழி-2

§ 2

The highest ideal of cure is rapid, gentle and permanent restoration of the health, or removal and annihilation of the disease in its whole extent, in the shortest, most reliable, and most harmless way, on easily comprehensible principles.

மிக உயர்ந்த நலமாக்கல் என்பது நோயற்ற நிலை விரைவில் ஏற்பட வேண்டும், நோயாளிக்கு எவ்வகையான துன்பம் சிறிதும் நேரக் கூடாது, நோய் மீண்டும் திரும்பி வராமல் வேருடன் வீழ்த்தப்பட வேண்டும், முற்றிலும் நம்பத்தகுந்த, எள்ளளவும் தீங்கையும் உண்டாக்காத, எளிதிலே புரிந்து கொள்ளக்கூடிய வழிமுறைகளுக்கு உட்பட்டதாய் அது இருக்க வேண்டும்.
