Aphorism 10 Tamil

 The material organism, without the vital force, is capable of no sensation, no function, no self-preservation-1, it derives all sensation and performs all the functions of life solely by means of the immaterial being (the vital principle) which animates the material organism in health and in disease.

FN-1 It is dead, and only subject to the power of the external physical world; it decays, and is again resolved into its chemical constituents.

உயிராற்றல் இல்லையென்றால் பருப்பொருளான உயிரிக்கு எதையும் உணரவோ , இயங்கவோ தன்னை பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ளவோ முடியாது-1. கண்ணுக்குப் புலப்படாத இந்தப் பருப்பொருளற்ற ஆற்றலே எல்லா உணர்வுகளையும், வாழ்வின் அனைத்து செயல்பாடுகளையும் நிகழ்த்துகிறது. அதுவே ,ஆரோக்கிய நிலையிலும், நோயுற்ற நிலையிலும் பருப்பொருளற்ற இந்தப் உயிரியை இயக்குகிறது.

அடிக்குறிப்பு -1 இந்த உயிராற்றல் அழிந்தவுடன் , உடலானது பௌதிக உலகத்தின் வெளிப்புற ஆற்றலுக்கு உட்பட்டு விடுகிறது ; அழுகி சிதைந்து மீண்டும் வேதியலுக்குரிய மூலக்கூறுகளாக மாறிவிடுகின்றது.
